Accessibility

AIFS is built to be usable by everyone, including users who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across this website and the underlying platform.

The AIFS website is built with Telekom's One Design System (ODS), whose components are tested against WCAG 2.1 AA. We extend that baseline with:

• Semantic page structure using HTML5 landmarks (main, nav, header, footer)
• Heading order without gaps
• Form labels and ARIA descriptions where appropriate
• Keyboard navigability for every interactive element
• Visible focus indicators
• Color contrast paired with non-color cues (icons, text labels)
• lang attribute on every page matching the active locale

We are open about gaps we are still closing:

• A formal third-party accessibility audit has not yet been completed
• Some imagery does not yet have descriptive alternative text
• We have not tested against every combination of screen reader and browser

This site is tested against current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
